Hoofbeats is An Initiative of I Give A Buck Foundation of Australia Ltd
I Give A Buck Foundation (IGAB) was founded in 2009 and since that time has funded therapeutic aids and therapies for disadvantaged children all across Australia. IGAB aims to address the heartbreaking fact that many of the children who would most benefit from particular aids and therapies are living in families that can simply not afford to pay for them.
Established in 2009, IGAB has evolved to offer four separate ongoing programs – each aimed to meet the specific needs of some of the most vulnerable children in our community.
- Sunshine Swags – through this program we meet the immediate comfort, hygiene and emotional needs of children entering Domestic & Family Violence Refuges in South East QLD
- CHAMPS (CHildren Achieving Maximum Potential) – through this program IGAB conducts online appeals in support of individual children living with life-altering conditions to provide equitable access to the therapeutic services and equipment
- iPads Program – through this program iPads are funded for children with serious communication difficulties and who require an iPad to run specialist communications apps in order to communicate their needs to caregivers. The apps are funded by the NDIS but the iPads required to run those apps are not funded.
